From raw material to product
Our VOSSEN terry towels undergo a carefully controlled production process in order to meet the highest quality standards. We pay attention to the greatest possible sustainability in all individual production steps.
The raw materials
In addition to cotton, we are also increasingly using more environmentally friendly yarns such as hemp and RECOT2.
The spinning
The fibers are twisted together and spun into yarn.
The slips of paper
3,500 individual yarn threads are wound onto wide rolls (warp beam).

The sizing
During the sizing process, the yarn is made more resistant for weaving using exclusively vegan, natural starch.
The weaving
By interlacing warp yarns with weft yarn and weaving technology, high-quality terry fabrics are produced on state-of-the-art weaving machines.
The coloring
Our cloths are dyed in an environmentally friendly way using the innovative cold block dyeing process.
Quality control
All our textiles undergo strict quality controls right from the start - from the careful inspection of incoming raw materials to the thorough final inspection of our finished products.

Our unique VOSSEN AirPillow Technology gives our products even more absorbency and more intensive fluffiness.
The sewing
At the end of the production process, our scarves are finely hemmed. They can also be personalized with embroidery and motifs.
