From raw material to product
Our VOSSEN terry towels undergo a carefully monitored production process to meet the highest quality standards. At every stage of production, we focus on quality, resource efficiency, and the responsible use of natural resources.
The raw materials
High-quality cotton is at the heart of our product story.
The spinning
The fibers are twisted together and spun into yarn.
The slips of paper
3,500 individual yarn strands are wound onto wide rolls (warp beam). This is the first step in the production process at our plant in Jennersdorf.

The sizing
During sizing, the yarn is made more durable for weaving through the use of natural starch.
The weaving
By interlacing warp yarns with weft yarns and using a specific weaving technique, high-quality terry cloth is produced on state-of-the-art looms.
The coloring
Our towels are dyed using an innovative cold-block dyeing process.
Quality control
All our textiles undergo strict quality controls right from the start - from the careful inspection of incoming raw materials to the thorough final inspection of our finished products.
The innovation
Our unique VOSSEN AirPillow Technology gives our products even more absorbency and more intensive fluffiness.
The sewing
The final production step takes place at our manufacturing facility in Szentgotthard, Hungary. At the end of the production process, our towels are finely hemmed. In addition, they can be personalized with custom embroidery and designs.
