Here at VOSSEN, we’ve welcomed and picked up our guests in all sorts of ways—from the airport, by taxi, by bus. But by canoe—that was a first even for us. How did that come about? On the one hand, it’s likely due to the adventurous spirit of the friendly team from the TV show HERZENSMARKEN, and of course to the circumstances of our production. After all, our VOSSEN factory is located here in the Raab–Örsèg–Goričko Nature Park, surrounded by beautiful nature and situated right on the Raab—the river in the region that is of the utmost importance for the production of our towels. So why not paddle your way here to visit us?
That’s exactly what Karl and Pascal, the two funny reporters from HERZENSMARKEN, thought recently. They arrived at our VOSSEN factory in Jennersdorf by canoe, with a very specific mission in mind: to uncover the secret behind Austria’s fluffiest towels.
When they arrived, they stepped out of their canoe with great elegance, and the first thing on Team VOSSEN’s agenda was to get Karl and Pascal into DRY CLOTHES. And as everyone knows, that’s something we’re especially good at.
After a walk through nature, the two arrived at our factory and immediately dove right into the subject. They explored everything there is to know about “Made in Austria” towels. They warped, wove, and dyed, and even tried their hand at helping to decide the color schemes for 2027 in the design studio.
For us employees, the days of filming with the HERZENSMARKEN team were truly exciting. We laughed, had great conversations, came up with proverbs, and realized once again just how wonderful it is to be able to produce successfully here in Austria. We can proudly say that we are a brand close to our hearts.
